Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is ranked sixth in the world for number of passengers and 13th in tonnage of air cargo handled. The central complex features nine passenger terminals connected by a U-shaped two-level roadway. Curbside baggage check-in is available on the upper departure level. Baggage claim is on the lower level. Brand-named and ethnic-styled restaurants, cocktail lounges, gift shops, newsstands, duty free shops for international flights, restrooms, public telephones and business centers offer convenient services for the traveling public. Other amenities include a first aid station in the Tom Bradley International Terminal and special telephones connected to area hotels/motels, bus/limousine services and car rental firms serving most Southland communities. Free shuttle service is provided between all terminals and remote parking lots.

Travel Insurance: In all terminals at the ICE Currency Exchange booths and kiosks/drop-boxes on Upper/Departure Level.
Cash advances: (up to $300 in US Dollars), on Visa and Mastercards are available at the ICE Currency Exchange Kiosks in Terminal 2, 3, 5, 7 and Tom Bradley International Terminal.
Hotel Reservation and Car Rental Information: In all terminals in or adjacent to baggage claim on Lower/Arrival Level.
Stranded Traveler Assistance: In all terminals at the Travelers Aid Society passenger information booths adjacent to or in baggage claim areas on Lower/Arrival Level.

1. Restroom is at Terminal 2 (upper level) and Terminal 6 (lower level), provide unisex, disabled-equipped restrooms. Restrooms in all terminals have extra-wide toilet stalls with side grip bars.
2. Wheelchair assistance is provided by all major scheduled airlines and can be requested at ticket counters. Contact your airline for advance wheelchair reservations.
3. Disabled passengers requiring transport to other LAX terminals can use the free, lift-equipped "A" shuttle service around the Central Terminal Loop.
4. A Special Assistance Vehicle is available to transport passengers with disabilities or special needs between passenger terminals and remote gates and is also available to passengers on stretchers, organ transplant patients, and seniors with specially equipped wheelchairs.
5. Friends of family accompanying disabled passengers to aircraft gates require airline permission. Contact Travelers Aid (lower levels) in each terminal for further information and assistance.
